Terms of Use
These terms apply to the use of the TianoChoirs app and related services. By using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
1. Service provider
The service is provided by Elektronituotanto (sole trader), Business ID 3149166-6 ("we", "Tianochoirs"). Contact: support@tianochoirs.com.
2. Description of the service
Tianochoirs is an app for choir singers and singing enthusiasts, offering among other things a sheet-music archive, part recordings, practice tools, a choir calendar and internal choir communication. Some features require registration and/or choir membership. We develop the service continuously, and features may change.
3. Account and age limit
Some functions require a user account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
The service is intended for users aged 13 and over. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service in accordance with the law and good practice. Among other things, you must not:
- post illegal, offensive, threatening, harassing or otherwise inappropriate content;
- infringe the rights of others, such as copyright or privacy;
- share content to which you do not have the necessary rights;
- disrupt the operation of the service or attempt to circumvent its security or usage restrictions;
- use the service for automated data collection without our permission.
5. User content
You retain the rights to the content you add to the service (e.g. sheet music, recordings, markings, messages). By adding content to the service, you grant us a limited right to store and process it in order to provide the service (e.g. to display the content to you and to the members of your choir). You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you share.
The service operates on a closed-loop principle: sheet music and other protected content are not intended to be taken outside the app. Choir content is accessible only through choir membership, and access ends when membership ends.
6. Copyright and notice procedure
We respect copyright. If you believe content in the service infringes your rights, please notify us at support@tianochoirs.com. Describe the content you consider infringing and provide your contact details. We will remove content that is justifiably infringing.
7. Choir membership and licences
The choir's administrator (owner/admin) manages the choir's members, content and settings. Use of the service by a choir may involve a paid licence. More detailed terms regarding payments and subscriptions are presented in the app before any payment is confirmed. There are currently no active payments in the service.
8. Moderation and restriction of use
We may review, remove or hide content that violates these rules, and restrict or terminate use of the service if these terms are breached or if it is necessary for the safety of the service or its users. Users can report inappropriate messages and block other users in the app.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent that mandatory law does not require otherwise, we are not liable for indirect damages. These terms do not limit your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to the service
We may change the service, its features or its availability. We may also suspend or discontinue the service; we aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Finnish law. As a consumer, you may always bring a dispute before the district court of your place of residence and use the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi). In consumer matters you may also contact consumer advisory services.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes in the app or by email. By continuing to use the service after the changes, you accept the updated terms.
